Auteco and Didi start training for motorcycle lessors in Medellín

Auteco and Didi have teamed up to train motorcycle lessors connected to the DiDi Moto app in Medellín, emphasizing safe mobility. The program provides certification and benefits to participants who complete responsible driving modules. So far, over 800 users have joined, with 168 already certified.

Auteco and Didi announced a partnership to train motorcycle lessors operating with DiDi Moto in Medellín. The initiative promotes safe mobility through training in civic culture and road care.

To date, more than 800 lessors have connected, 168 have completed certification, and 704 are in process, nearing 1,000 beneficiaries. The program covers three modules: basic driving guidelines like braking and evasion, handling on inclines, curve-taking techniques, pre-operational checks, safety gear, and emergency response.

"At DiDi, we work to recover human warmth in technology and put it at the service of people's well-being," stated the director of Government Relations for DiDi Andean Region. Participants also access Auteco's Virtual Safe Mobility School and the CON-Ciencia campaign, which shares data on road risks.

José Ignacio Rojas, president of Auteco-TVS, said: "With Con-Ciencia, we seek to generate a cultural change around road safety. This alliance with DiDi reinforces our commitment to protect motorcyclists."
