Azealia Banks releases hour-long guided meditation suite Zenzealia

Azealia Banks has released Zenzealia, an hour-long guided meditation suite created with Swedish DJ Kornél Kovács. The project marks her first full-length release since the 2019 mixtape Yung Rapunxel: Pt.II. Pitchfork first reported the drop.

Azealia Banks dropped Zenzealia on Tuesday, teaming up with Kornél Kovács for the extended meditation experience. Banks described it as a spiritual guide, available for streaming immediately after release. This comes after a period of sparse output, with only occasional singles like 2021's “Fuck Him All Night” and 2022's “New Bottega.” The duo previously collaborated on “Sväva Demo 2” in 2025, part of a series drawing from the seven healing frequencies. Zenzealia builds on that meditative direction, positioning Banks as a voice in wellness audio. Her earlier work includes the 2014 album Broke With Expensive Taste, ranked No. 48 on Pitchfork's list of the 100 best rap albums. Last year, Banks stirred controversy with a now-deleted X post commenting on former President Donald J. Trump's ties to Jeffrey Epstein, stating that sex with underage women became a social taboo only in the 1990s and linking teenage pregnancy stigma to the rise of Jerry Springer.

North London artist Eliza has unveiled her third independent album, The Darkening Green, after a four-year gap in full-length releases. The nine-track alt-R&B project explores themes of capitalism, nature, and human connection, accompanied by the new single Pleasure Boy.
