The Umeå club returns to the top flight after 25 years, with emotional scenes from hometown heroes Marcus Björk and captain Axel Ottosson.
Björklöven controlled the decisive Game 4, jumping to a 4-0 lead early in the second period with goals from Joel Mustonen, Anton Malmström, Albin Lundin, and Oscar Tellström. BIK Karlskoga fought back to 4-2 via Jonatan Harju and Henrik Björklund, but Björklöven pulled away in the third, highlighted by Marcus Björk's assist on Daniel Brodin's goal, plus late strikes including another from Tellström and empty-netters for the 7-2 final (some reports note 7-3). Playoff MVP Brodin shone consistently since joining the team.
Regular-season leaders Björklöven lost just one playoff game in 13 (to Södertälje in semis), showcasing four strong lines, mental toughness, and fan support that filled an entire end zone. The win ends a 25-year exile since 2000/2001, following COVID-halted finals (2020), losses to HV71 (2021) and Timrå (2022), and a 2010 financial relegation to division 1. Björklöven is back at the top.
