The body of 18-year-old Nicolás Agustín Duarte from Tristán Suárez was found lifeless in Ezeiza's arroyo Aguirre, two days after he went missing leaving a nightclub. Buenos Aires police launched an intensive search with drones, dogs, and divers following his mother's report on Saturday. A friend bid farewell to the youth on social media with an emotional message.
Nicolás Agustín Duarte, an 18-year-old resident of Tristán Suárez in the Ezeiza district, went missing in the early hours of Saturday, October 25, 2025, shortly after leaving the Egipto Baires Sur nightclub. According to police reconstruction, Duarte was escorted out by private security at 4:10 a.m. and began walking alone along Provincial Route 205 amid a storm.
Security cameras captured him at 5:20 a.m. heading toward Tristán Suárez, showing signs of intoxication and disorientation. Around 8:00 a.m., a garbage truck driver spotted him between Los Sauces and Las Araucarias streets; the youth had a lip injury and refused an offer for a ride home. The last footage shows him on Las Araucarias street, walking toward the bridge over arroyo Aguirre, after which he vanished.
Duarte's mother reported him missing that Saturday, triggering a search operation led by Ezeiza's SubDDI, the Provincial Civil Defense Directorate, GTO, cavalry, tracking dogs, and Buenos Aires Provincial Police rescuers. Videos and witness accounts suggested he may have fallen into the stream during the storm.
On Tuesday, October 28, in the afternoon, Buenos Aires police found Duarte's body in the arroyo Aguirre channel, meters from his last known location. Authorities are examining hypotheses about his death, with no initial signs of third-party involvement.
A friend of the youth posted a farewell message on social media: “We left you alone, Nicolás.” The family and Ezeiza community express grief over the tragedy.
