Bomb threat suspends classes at two Pateros schools

Face-to-face classes were suspended at two public schools in Pateros on July 20 following a bomb threat.

The local government of Pateros announced the cancellation in a public advisory posted on its Facebook page at around 5:30 a.m.

“As a precautionary measure and to ensure everyone’s safety, face-to-face classes are suspended today following the receipt of a security threat (bomb threat) at Pateros National High School (Main Campus),” read the advisory, written in Filipino.

Both schools shifted to online instruction through the Alternative Delivery Mode of Learning, in accordance with the directive of the Department of Education–Schools Division Office of Taguig and Pateros.
