Currently at Boston College, Hagens has recorded 17 goals and 34 points in 27 games, ranking ninth in NCAA points per game. He helped his team win the Beanpot and has shown versatility as a center or winger, with strong skating, vision, stick-handling, and playmaking skills. Sources suggest he could join the Bruins post-NCAA season, similar to former teammate Ryan Leonard's jump to the Washington Capitals after a 30-goal year. Other potential targets include Braden Schneider of the New York Rangers, a 24-year-old pending restricted free agent with two goals, nine assists, 11 points, and 123 hits in 57 games, offering youth and physicality. Zach Whitecloud, who has played for the Vegas Golden Knights and Calgary Flames, has two goals, eight assists, 10 points, and 86 hits in 55 games, under contract at $2.75 million through 2027-28.
