Roan described a pandemic-era relationship that began with three months of online communication. It led to a date in Los Angeles where the pair kissed, but the other person stopped responding after four days and later said they had met someone else.
She recounted how the individual told a mutual friend they knew they should care but did not understand her upset because the relationship was casual. Roan said that experience became the basis for the track.
Rosalía responded by comparing the situation to her own song 'La Perla' and dedicated it to the person involved. The appearance followed similar guest confessions at earlier stops on the tour.
