David Vélez, founder and CEO of Nubank, will participate as a speaker at the tenth edition of Latam Fintech Market to be held in September.
The event organized by Colombia Fintech will take place on September 17 and 18 in Barranquilla.
Vélez will present his perspective on the future of financial services, the global expansion of companies and the role of technology in regional financial inclusion.
Gabriel Santos, executive president of the association, noted that Vélez's presence seeks to foster key discussions to define the direction of the sector in Latin America.
More than 2,500 people are expected to attend, including representatives from technology companies, investment funds, financial entities and public authorities. The agenda will analyze challenges and projections of the industry for the next four years, with axes including Artificial Intelligence and regulation of payments and digital assets.
