President-elect Abelardo De La Espriella held a meeting with Cundinamarca Governor Jorge Emilio Rey to address the department's needs.
During the meeting in Barranquilla, De La Espriella stated that the department has great projection and a great future, which has been historically abandoned by centralism. He also noted that the time of the regions and the province has arrived.
Governor Rey indicated that Cundinamarca is his home and that they received him with open arms. He added that they are ready to prepare a work agenda that allows reclaiming the department.
De La Espriella expressed on his X account that he will work with the governor so that the inhabitants feel proud of this new era.
