Chief Minister Rekha Gupta stated that eligible women can receive the amount either partly in a recurring or fixed deposit and partly in a digital rupee wallet, or fully in deposits. The digital wallet funds are limited to permitted goods and services. The online portal for applications opens on August 1.

Eligibility requires Delhi residency for at least 10 years, family income below Rs 2.5 lakh, no criminal record, and no more than three children. Exclusions apply to income taxpayers, GST filers, government employees, families with high electricity use, and those owning four-wheelers.
