Dodgers donate 2025 World Series artifacts to Cooperstown

The Los Angeles Dodgers, fresh off their back-to-back World Series title, have donated several key items from their 2025 championship run to the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown. The artifacts include game-used equipment from pivotal moments in the series against the Toronto Blue Jays. This contribution preserves the team's history-making triumph.

Following their departure from Toronto on Saturday night, the Dodgers returned to Los Angeles as back-to-back World Series champions. While most of their championship spoils headed west, select pieces of history were sent to Cooperstown for permanent display.

The donated items highlight dramatic moments from the series:
- The bat Freddie Freeman used to hit the game-winning homer in the 18th inning of World Series Game 3.
- The Game 3 glove of reliever Will Klein, who emerged as an unexpected hero in that thriller.
- A base from Game 3.
- World Series MVP Yoshinobu Yamamoto’s Game 7 cap.
- The shoes worn by catcher Will Smith when he hit the series-deciding home run in the 11th inning of Game 7.
- Mookie Betts' Game 7 glove, used to start the title-clinching double play.
- Manager Dave Roberts’ road jersey.
- President of baseball operations Andrew Friedman’s championship celebration shirt.

This victory marks the Dodgers' third championship of the 2020s and ninth in franchise history, tying them with the A’s and Red Sox for the third-most all-time.
