Designer Masayuki Ino presented the Doublet Spring 2027 menswear collection at Salle Rossini in Paris on June 28.
The show opened with a spotlight rising from the floor as a rooster crowed to evoke the start of a day. Models appeared in outfits featuring visual gags such as a knit pleated mini-skirt paired with an asymmetrically cut sweater vest and a bread purse.
Other looks included a long-sleeve T-shirt labeled “watch” with a woven timepiece on the wrist and bubble gum pink gym shorts with falling money motifs. Additional pieces showed bankers with dollar bills from suits and an all-night party girl carrying shoes with a bra on her wrist.
The collection, titled “A Day in the Life,” featured spiral cut jeans, skater shorts with embedded chain belts and an oversized red leather jacket. The presentation took place in the underground concert hall in the 16th arrondissement.
