Veteran forward Erik Andersson is leaving the SHL for Hockeyettan. The 31-year-old has agreed terms with Borås ahead of the new season.
Andersson spent last season with Växjö Lakers after arriving from Danish club Rungsted Seier Capital. He featured in 36 games and recorded five points, including one goal.
The experienced player previously represented HV71 and Rögle during a long SHL career. Borås views the signing as a statement of intent, bringing proven high-level experience to the squad.
Andersson is expected to take on a larger role with more ice time. He will face familiar opponents such as Tingsryd and Troja-Ljungby during the campaign.
