Experts outline timelines for XRP price reaching $700 to $1,000

Several cryptocurrency experts have forecasted ambitious timelines for XRP to surge to between $700 and $1,000, citing its potential in global payments. Despite current trading around $2.27, predictions range from 2035 to the 2050s. These projections follow recent developments like the launch of a spot XRP ETF.

XRP, the cryptocurrency associated with Ripple, is currently trading around the $2.27 level, according to recent market data. Experts argue it remains undervalued given its role in facilitating global payments, potentially disrupting systems like SWIFT.

Predictions for XRP reaching $700 to $1,000 have gained attention despite their audacious nature. In July 2025, Jake Claver, CEO of Digital Ascension Group, placed a public $18,000 bet that XRP could hit $750, which he said would grow to $3.5 million if realized.

Analyst Remi Relief recalled his $1,000 prediction from last year when XRP traded near $0.50, noting that it was dismissed then but is now widespread. He views prices under $10 as extremely cheap, with the current $3 level offering accumulation opportunities.

U.S. exchange Uphold highlighted community discussions in July 2025 about XRP reaching $1,000 by 2030, polling users on their bullishness. Earlier, in April 2025, CryptoGuard COO Matthew Brienen suggested XRP could achieve $1,000 within ten years.

AI tool Google Gemini described such targets as extremely optimistic, requiring XRP to capture significant global payment flows. It estimated $700 between 2035 and 2045, and $1,000 between 2040 and the early 2050s. Changelly analysts projected $700 by 2040, possibly reaching $789 by April, and entering the $1,000 range with an average of $1,010 by June 2040.

These targets imply massive gains: a 30,737% rise for $700 and 43,952% for $1,000 from current levels. Optimism boosted after Canary Capital's pure spot XRP ETF launched, recording $58 million in volume and $245 million in inflows on its first day—only 8% below BlackRock’s Ethereum ETF debut.

However, a $1,000 XRP would value its 60 billion circulating supply at $60 trillion, exceeding gold's $28.3 trillion market cap by more than double, representing 40% of the global stock market's $147 trillion, and surpassing Bitcoin's $1.91 trillion by over 30 times. Analysts deem this unlikely under current conditions.
