Father John Misty releases new song The Payoff

Father John Misty has released a new track called “The Payoff” on Sub Pop. Josh Tillman co-produced the song with Drew Erickson.

The single marks Tillman’s second Father John Misty release of 2026. It follows the January track “The Old Law.” Erickson has previously worked on the artist’s last two albums and often collaborates with Lana Del Rey and Angel Olsen.
