It gave rise to Folha da Manhã and Folha da Tarde, culminating in unification in 1960 under the name Folha de S.Paulo.

To mark the anniversary, Folha plans initiatives such as intensified audiovisual coverage, greater reader interaction, a series of reports on contemporary dilemmas, and a street race. Among the new features, a May series on longevity will address Brazil's aging population. According to IBGE, the number of people over 60 grew 57.4% in 12 years and is projected to reach 75.3 million by 2070, affecting economy, society, work, and health.
Other actions include Instagram videos under the hashtag #folha105, showcasing newsroom behind-the-scenes, such as news selection for the homepage and error corrections. Starting in March, the series "Desconstruindo a Entrevista" will bring together internet personalities, journalists, and columnists; the first episode features Blogueirinha with Mônica Bergamo, and the second, the creators of A Vida de Tina with Tati Bernardi. From May, meetings with ombudsman Alexandra Moraes will gather reader suggestions and criticisms, involving reporters and editors.
