Formula 1 has revealed the winners of its annual Promoter Awards at a ceremony in London, honoring the 24 Grands Prix for their contributions in 2025. The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix took top honors as Promoter of the Year, while other awards recognized excellence in fan experience, sustainability, event spectacle, and cultural identity.
The annual Formula 1 Promoter Awards ceremony took place in London, attended by leaders from all 24 Grands Prix on the calendar. Five awards were presented, celebrating outstanding efforts in sustainability, fan experience, event spectacle, and cultural identity during the 2025 season.
The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, promoted by Ethara, won Promoter of the Year. CEO Saif Rashid Al-Noaimi accepted the trophy, recognizing their work to elevate the event as a global destination. In 2025, Yas Marina Circuit introduced new hospitality concepts, innovative activations, sustainability initiatives, and entertainment from international artists. It hosted a historic three-way title decider with a record 339,000 fans over the weekend.
Stefano Domenicali, Formula 1 President and CEO, praised the promoters: “2025 was another incredible year from start to finish for Formula 1, and at the heart of this success were our 24 promoters, who worked tirelessly to deliver the ultimate race weekend experience for our fans. As the sport enters its next generation in 2026, we have a responsibility to continue breaking barriers and setting a high standard for others to follow. I want to thank all our promoters for their hard work and innovation and encourage them to keep developing their events in 2026 and beyond. Congratulations to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, as well as to all the other winners and nominees at today’s awards.”

- Event Spectacle: Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, featuring performances by Usher, Jennifer Lopez, and Major Lazer, plus a drone and firework show.
- Fan Experience presented by Heineken: Hungarian Grand Prix, with upgraded facilities and positive fan feedback.
- ESG Changemaker presented by Allwyn: Japanese Grand Prix, offering access to 4,000 families via a lottery, achieving zero waste to landfill, and 64% low-carbon transport.
- Outstanding Cultural Identity: Chinese Grand Prix, with a downtown festival, local food vendors, and immersive branding in Shanghai.
These awards highlight the evolving role of promoters in enhancing Formula 1's global appeal as the sport looks to 2026.
