Getdown Services have released the downbeat new single Cha Cha Slide, which the Bristol duo call their saddest song yet. The track serves as the latest preview of their upcoming second album Massive Champion.
The song follows the band's previous release I Can't Die Like That. Vocalist and guitarist Josh Law described the track as being about feeling out of place at social occasions and the ongoing trial of connecting with others.
Massive Champion is scheduled for release on August 14 through Breakfast Records. It comes after the group's 2023 debut album Crisps.
The band will play several UK festivals this summer before starting a headline tour in November. Shows begin in Cardiff on November 19 and conclude with two nights in Bristol in January 2027.
