Gracie Abrams has scored her first number one album on the Billboard 200 chart. Her latest release, Daughter From Hell, debuted at the top spot with 124,000 equivalent album units in the week ending July 23.
The album marks a career milestone for the singer-songwriter, surpassing her previous high of number two with The Secret of Us in 2024. It earned 77,000 in pure album sales and 46,500 streaming equivalent units during the tracking week.
Abrams described the project as coming from a period of reflection after touring ended. She performed an underplay show at Bowery Ballroom ahead of the release and shared bonus tracks online last weekend.
The set was produced by Aaron Dessner and includes writing contributions from Justin Vernon, Audrey Hobert and Paul Mescal. It follows two charting singles on the Billboard Hot 100 and was announced on May 11.
Abrams becomes the sixth act to achieve a first number one album on the Billboard 200 in 2026.
