A nearly stationary front lies northeast of the eastern region, adding to the atmospheric instability.
Over the past 24 hours, showers and rain have occurred in Havana, primarily along the north coast, driven by this slow-moving front positioned between the Florida Straits and the Bahamas, close to Cuba's northern shores.
From December 18 to 24, low clouds will continue moving into the north coast areas of the capital, bringing intermittent showers and rain that may extend inland in the afternoon. Winds will mainly come from the northeast at 15 to 30 kilometers per hour, with stronger gusts. Relative humidity will fluctuate between 45% and 60%. High temperatures will hover between 27 and 29 ºC (81 and 84 ºF), and lows between 21 and 23 ºC (70 and 73 ºF). The sea surface temperature will reach 28 ºC (82 ºF).
