The match took place at Lapangan 2 Aspire Zone in Doha on November 10, 2025. Indonesia dominated from the start, though the first half ended 0-0. In the 52nd minute, Evandra Florasta scored a penalty after a foul on Mierza Firjatullah, putting Indonesia 1-0 up. Honduras equalized two minutes later via Luis Suazo's penalty following Putu Panji's handball, making it 1-1.
Fadly Alberto emerged as the hero with a spectacular goal in the 72nd minute, receiving a cross from Fandi Ahmad and blasting it into the corner, changing the score to 2-1. Goalkeeper Mike Rajasa Hoppenbrouwers made his full 90-minute debut and was praised by coach Nova Arianto. "Mike is one of the players that fits the scheme we made... he has very good potential," Nova said.
Nova expressed gratitude for the win, which etched history as Indonesia's first in the U-17 World Cup since participating in 2023. "Praise the Lord, I say once again I am grateful... they can make a new history," he stated. However, Putu Panji's head injury in the second half raised concerns; he complained of dizziness and is under medical observation.
