The performance is set for September 15, 2026, right after the Independence Day Grito ceremony led by President Claudia Sheinbaum. Such events are part of the commemorations marking the start of Mexico's Independence.
Details remain sparse so far: the band's website lists a 7:00 PM start, but it may be tentative. Neither the group nor the Secretaría de Cultura de la Ciudad de México has shared further information. Last year, La Arrolladora Banda El Limón de René Camacho entertained the Zócalo gathering starting at 8:00 PM.
Intocable returns to the capital after appearing in the Mexico Canta finale and a free show at the Monumento a la Revolución three years ago, which drew over 35,000 attendees. On that occasion, they performed classics such as 'El amigo que se fue', 'Amor maldito', 'Prometí', and 'Perdedor'.
