KBS bus crash leaves two feared dead in Nairobi

Two people are feared dead and several others injured after a Kenya Bus Service vehicle overturned along Kodhek Road in Nairobi on May 23.

The accident occurred at the Valley Arcade area. The bus lost control while speeding and struck other vehicles and pedestrians.

Rescue teams and traffic police arrived quickly to assist the injured and clear the road. Traffic on the busy route remained disrupted for several hours.

Authorities have not yet released the names of those involved. Families are waiting at hospitals for updates on their relatives.

This marks another incident involving KBS buses on the same road, following a similar crash in September 2024.
