Contract clauses allowing both Jesper Sellgren and Bromé to depart expired on April 30, and neither player activated them, according to sports director Ulf Engman in comments to NSD. The duo, pivotal in last season's SHL championship win, will remain with the club. “They are two absolute key players, and it feels good that they are staying,” Engman said, noting the challenge of replacing them.
