JYP Entertainment's boy group Kickflip has revealed details for their comeback, including pre-release single 'Twenty' on March 9 at 6 p.m. KST and fourth mini-album 'My First Kick' on April 6. The announcement follows their fan concert tour and builds on their rookie momentum, though member Amaru will sit out promotions.
Kickflip, a rising K-pop boy group under JYP Entertainment, is set for a spring comeback with a pre-release track 'Twenty' dropping March 9 at 6 p.m. KST, followed by their fourth mini-album 'My First Kick' on April 6 at the same time. The agency teased the release via a midnight SNS post on March 6 and a minimalist black-and-white poster highlighting the group logo.
The teaser video evokes a youth movie with waves crashing on a blue sea, capturing moments from the members' early 20s, and features the lyric snippet: "Twenty, I'm Twenty, I'm Twenty, I'm Twenty, I'm Fine," over an overwhelming melody. Composed by member Dong-hyun, 'Twenty' explores themes of excitement, regret, and growth in one's early 20s, tying into the group's personal story.
This marks their first project in about seven months since the third mini-album 'My First Flip' in September 2025. Kickflip debuted January 20, 2025, with 'Flip It, Kick It!' and title track 'Mama Said (What Will You Be?).' They quickly earned No. 1 spots on music shows, Best New Artist at the K-pop Awards, and a global festival performance. For their debut anniversary, they released digital single 'From Kick Flip, To We Flip' on January 20, 2026, followed by their first fan concert tour '2026 Kickflip FAN-CON (from Kickflip, To We Flip)' across five cities, concluding February 28 in Daegu.
Note that member Amaru will not participate in promotions for this release. The announcements have heightened fan anticipation for Kickflip's continued rise as a K-pop super rookie.
