Antonelli claimed his fourth pole in five races after topping the timesheets in Q3. He improved on his provisional time to beat Verstappen, who took second place. Lewis Hamilton qualified third for Ferrari. Leclerc hit the barriers in the final sector on his last attempt, ending his session early. Isack Hadjar finished fifth for Red Bull while George Russell was sixth for Mercedes. Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris occupied the fourth row for McLaren.
