Pop artist King has unveiled Jo Ishq Hua, a tender love ballad from his upcoming album Raja Hindustani, just in time for wedding season. The track features actor Shriya Pilgaonkar in a music video set against Jaipur's royal palaces, tracing a love story from childhood to marriage. It highlights King's return to emotional, melodic songwriting after recent rap-focused releases.
King, known for his romantic hits like Maan Meri Jaan and Tu Jaana Na Piya, is back with Jo Ishq Hua, a heartfelt anthem celebrating enduring love. Released as a preview of his forthcoming album Raja Hindustani, set for February 20, 2026 via Warner Music India, the song blends evocative lyrics with a melody that builds from soft intimacy to a sweeping, cinematic sound. Co-composed by Aditya Dev, it follows the album's lead single Kamaal Hai, announced in November 2025, and comes after King's 2024 rap album Monopoly Moves and the emotive EP Shayad Koi Na Sune from July 2025.
The music video, starring Shriya Pilgaonkar, unfolds in Jaipur's palatial settings, depicting a couple's journey from nostalgic school days through traditional Haldi and Varmala ceremonies to lifelong commitment. This visual narrative mirrors the song's theme of quiet, steadfast companionship rather than grand gestures.
King described the track's origins: “Jo Ishq Hua comes from a very honest place. This song reflects the kind of love that doesn’t need grand declarations, it simply stays. The song builds from soft, heartfelt moments into a rich, sweeping sound that captures the warmth of love. We wanted it to be cinematic yet intimate, a song for all kinds of special moments."
Pilgaonkar shared her experience: “I’ve always enjoyed King’s music and his energy. Shooting in Jaipur, especially in a palace, added this beautiful sense of timelessness to the story. The song itself is soft, romantic, and has a strong emotional resonance. It’s a love story that unfolds slowly and lingers, and I feel like that’s something audiences will really connect with."
