WWE stars Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio discussed their ongoing nerves ahead of matches during a recent podcast appearance. Morgan described physical symptoms including vomiting before performances, while Mysterio reflected on his discomfort with attention despite his family background in wrestling.
During an appearance on JaackMaate’s Happy Hour podcast, Mysterio said he loved watching wrestling as a child but hated the attention that came with it. He added that being one of WWE’s biggest names now feels like “just another day of outshining my deadbeat dad.”
Morgan revealed she still experiences significant nerves, stating that Mysterio has seen her throw up and gag before matches. She attributed the anxiety to her desire to perform well, noting both the pressure and the excitement involved.
Morgan is scheduled to defend the WWE Women’s World Championship at SummerSlam on August 1 and 2 against IYO SKY, the winner of this year’s Queen of the Ring tournament.
