Police in Lucknow seized Rs 26 lakh in cash hidden in a secret compartment of a BMW and arrested three men after stopping two vehicles under suspicious circumstances.

The cash was recovered after police personnel noticed a black-tinted Haryana-registered BMW and a Scorpio parked under suspicious circumstances. When the police asked the trio to produce the vehicles' documents, they allegedly failed to present any valid papers.

Three men have been arrested in connection with the seizure.
