Maki releases live version of Kolorcoaster album

Filipino artist Maki has released a live edition of his album Kolorcoaster on digital platforms. The record captures performances from recent videos and leads into his upcoming concert. Fans can now stream the reimagined tracks ahead of the event.

Maki, known for his hit 'Dilaw,' surprised supporters with the drop of KOLORCOASTER (LIVE) shortly after the original Kolorcoaster album. Available on streaming services, the live version includes all ten tracks from the debut, reinterpreted with added emotional depth in Maki's vocals and stage presence.

The audio draws from a series of live performance videos shared by Tarsier Records over the past two months. Announcing the release on social media, Maki shared a lighthearted post: "Release ng release di na napagod (I just keep releasing [music], I’m not getting tired anymore)" followed by "KOLORCOASTER LIVE ALBUM OUT NOW laughs."

This release builds anticipation for Maki's concert series finale, titled Kolorcoaster: One More Ride, scheduled at the Araneta Coliseum on February 21, 2026. Limited tickets remain available for the Saturday event.

Recently, Maki appeared as the digital cover star for Billboard Philippines' February 2025 issue, discussing his creative process. He explained, "Para sa akin (For me), creating another world of my own, which was Kolorcoaster, was very important for me because of my sentiment growing up. So a lot of these things that are in the music videos, sa mga (in the) lyrics, and then every other detail na nasa (that are in the) album are very special parts of my life."

The album's visuals were photographed by Shaira Luna, courtesy of Tarsier Records. Listeners can access KOLORCOASTER (LIVE) in full on platforms now.
