TVLine has exclusively announced that Mary McCormack will guest-star in season 2 of the Emmy-winning HBO Max medical drama The Pitt, appearing alongside Noah Wyle and Shawn Hatosy in episode 13, which streams on Thursday, April 2. McCormack takes on the role of neurosurgeon Dr. Linda Conley. This marks a reunion with Wyle, 20 years after she recurred on ER in seasons 10 and 12 as Darfur clinic physician Debbie. Additionally, Sara Wyle, Noah Wyle's real-life wife, will appear in the same episode as ER patient Ashley Davis. The Pitt, which earned the 2025 Emmy for Outstanding Drama Series, follows healthcare workers in a Pittsburgh hospital. Noah Wyle stars as Dr. Michael 'Robby' Robinavitch, with co-stars including Patrick Ball as Dr. Frank Langdon, Katherine LaNasa as charge nurse Dana Evans, Supriya Ganesh as Dr. Samira Mohan, Fiona Dourif as Dr. Cassie McKay, Taylor Dearden as Dr. Mel King, Isa Briones as Dr. Trinity Santos, Gerran Howell as Dr. Dennis Whitaker, Shabana Azeez as med student Victoria Javadi, and Sepideh Moafi as Dr. Baran Al-Hashimi.
