Merach unveils AI-powered treadmill at CES 2026

Home fitness brand Merach has introduced the UltraTread T70 Aura, a treadmill featuring an innovative AI coach that adjusts speed based on heart rate. Designed with joint protection in mind, the device aims to make professional-level workouts accessible to everyday users. Unveiled at CES 2026, it pairs exclusively with the Apple Watch for monitoring.

Merach, a brand specializing in home fitness equipment, revealed its latest innovation, the UltraTread T70 Aura, during CES 2026. This treadmill stands out with its built-in AI coach, described by the company as the first of its kind. The AI not only interacts with users but also tailors workouts by modifying the machine's speed and incline in response to real-time heart rate data.

To monitor heart rate, the UltraTread connects solely to the Apple Watch, the only compatible fitness tracker mentioned. This integration helps runners maintain optimal cardio health zones, promoting efficient and safe exercise sessions. Users can thus focus on their performance without constantly checking their pace.

A key feature is the proprietary KneeGuard triple-layer suspension system, which absorbs up to 49 times more impact than standard setups and returns 66% of energy. This technology significantly reduces joint stress, a common issue for treadmill runners. Previously reserved for elite athletes in professional gyms, such impact-absorbing mechanisms are now brought to consumers through Merach's design.

The treadmill addresses everyday challenges in home workouts, like selecting the right speed or protecting joints from strain. By making advanced features more affordable and user-friendly, Merach aims to enhance accessibility in personal fitness routines.

Availability is slated for later this year, with prices ranging from $1,200 to $2,000, varying by motor size and display options.
