Neutro Shorty’s album El Disco de Salsa has been voted the favorite new music release of the week in a Billboard poll. The Venezuelan artist’s salsa project earned 75 percent of the votes. It outperformed new tracks and albums from several other artists including Olivia Rodrigo.
The poll was published by Billboard on May 22. Fans chose the 12-track salsa album, which features collaborations with legends such as Gilberto Santa Rosa and Oscar D’León, as their top pick among new releases that week.
