Niklas Kronwall has been elected to the IIHF Hall of Fame. The 45-year-old Swede joins other former players in the 2026 class during a ceremony held in Zürich.
Niklas Kronwall earned the honor after a career that included nearly 1,000 NHL games with Detroit. He also secured two Swedish championships with Djurgården, Olympic gold in 2006 and a Stanley Cup title in 2008, placing him in the triple gold club.
