Nitin Nabin instructs BJP cadre to prepare for 2029 Jharkhand Assembly election

BJP National President Nitin Nabin on June 7, 2026, directed party workers in Jharkhand to focus on organisation building ahead of the 2029 Assembly election during a meeting in Ranchi.

Mr Nabin addressed state and district level leaders at the party office. He said Jharkhand remains a BJP stronghold despite the outcome of the previous election. He instructed monthly meetings at all levels down to the Mandal and directed that each Mandal build a team of at least 100 active workers. Party wings are to be completed up to the Mandal level. Mr Nabin also called for serious preparation for the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls that begins on June 20. He asked district units to hold dialogues with 500 prominent citizens in each district. Jharkhand BJP President Aditya Sahu and Leader of the Opposition Babulal Marandi attended the meeting.
