Georgia started strong by winning 4-1 in Horsemanship, where junior Abbey Zawisza earned Most Outstanding Performer honors with a score of 76.5. Freshman Ava Hathaway set a new season-high of 86, and senior Alyvia Dixon contributed 75.5 to help secure the points.
The Bulldogs edged out Texas A&M 3-2 in Fences, with junior Tessa Downey claiming MOP after an impressive 88-point ride. Sophomore Ella Witt tied her career high of 86, securing her point against Texas A&M's Grace Defoe. In Reining, Georgia took another 3-2 victory, led by Cadence Eger's top score of 73.75. Junior Kennedy Buchanan posted a career-high 73.5 to add to the lead, though Texas A&M's Mattie Gustin was awarded MOP for the event.
The meet concluded with a 2-2 tie in Flat, where Tessa Brown earned her first Flat MOP of the season with a career-high 89, leading Georgia's scoring in that discipline. Four Georgia riders—Buchanan, Hathaway, Brown, and Witt—either set or tied career highs during the win, highlighting the team's depth and individual progress.
This victory strengthens Georgia's position in the rankings as they prepare for their next event on February 14. Texas A&M, despite the loss, showed competitiveness in Reining and Flat.
