Norton Atlas ADV spotted testing again in India

The Norton Atlas ADV adventure motorcycle has been observed testing for the second time in India, ahead of its planned mid-2026 launch. Under TVS ownership, the bike appears close to its EICMA reveal, with potential India-specific adjustments. Spy images reveal details on its wheels, suspension, and off-road features.

The Norton Atlas ADV, an upcoming adventure motorcycle from Norton Motorcycles, was recently spotted testing on Indian roads for the second time. This sighting comes as the company prepares for a mid-2026 debut in the Indian market, facilitated by its owner, TVS Motor Company.

Spy photographs indicate that the production version closely resembles the models displayed at last year's EICMA show, which included Standard and GT variants. Previous test units featured 17-inch alloy wheels on both ends, akin to the GT model. However, the newest prototype sports 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels, suggesting a possible trim tailored for India that sits between the global offerings.

The bike is equipped with block-pattern tires, underscoring its suitability for off-road use. It includes gold-finished upside-down (USD) forks, though it lacks adjustable front suspension and hand guards, which may point to a more affordable specification to suit local pricing expectations.

At its core, the Atlas ADV will be powered by a 585cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine featuring a 270-degree crankshaft, mated to a six-speed gearbox. The engine is anticipated to deliver between 65 and 70 horsepower. Expected features encompass an 8-inch TFT display, multiple riding modes, traction control, cruise control, and various electronic aids.

This testing phase highlights Norton's efforts to adapt the Atlas ADV for Indian conditions, building on the brand's revival under TVS stewardship.
