P!nk's Mexico City concerts canceled over logistics issues

Promoter Ocesa has canceled two upcoming concerts by P!nk in Mexico City due to unforeseen logistical complications. The shows, set for April 26 and 27 at GNP Seguros Stadium, would have marked the singer's return to Mexican stages after more than two decades. Full refunds will be issued to ticket holders.

Ocesa announced on March 6 that P!nk's performances scheduled for April 26 and 27 at GNP Seguros Stadium in Mexico City are canceled. The decision stems from “complications arising from an unforeseen circumstance that affects the logistics of the event,” according to a statement from the promoter. This situation is described as being beyond the control of the artist, Ocesa, and the venue.

The concerts were anticipated as P!nk's first in Mexico in over 20 years, featuring hits like “So What” and “Get the Party Started.” Ocesa expressed regret in the statement: “We understand how much fans were looking forward to these concerts, and we deeply appreciate their understanding.”

Ticket refunds are being processed automatically for online purchases through Ticketmaster Mexico, including service fees, directly to the original payment cards, subject to banking timelines. Those who bought tickets at box offices can request refunds at the point of sale in the coming days.

Separately, Ocesa also canceled unrelated shows: regional Mexican singer Carolina Ross's performance on May 2 at Teatro Metropólitan, due to “unforeseen logistical circumstances,” with refunds starting March 12 for box office buyers; and rapper Lucho SSJ's event at Foro Puebla, attributed to similar logistical reasons, with box office refunds available from March 6.

These cancellations highlight ongoing challenges in event logistics in the region, though Ocesa emphasized they are isolated incidents.
