Pacha New York announces June opening weekend lineup

Operators of Pacha New York have revealed that the rebranded club will debut over the June 20-21 weekend, featuring Michael Bibi on Friday and Black Coffee on Saturday. The announcement comes after the venue's transformation from the troubled Brooklyn Mirage. Pacha is also offering nearly $3 million in vouchers to holders of unrefunded tickets from canceled shows.

Pacha New York, formerly known as the Brooklyn Mirage, will open its doors for a two-night debut on June 20 and 21. Michael Bibi, an English DJ, headlines the Friday night, marking his only current U.S. performance outside Chicago's ARC Music Festival in September. South African DJ Black Coffee follows on Saturday, his sole U.S. date on the summer schedule, according to the club's operators as reported by Billboard on April 9. The venue is part of the Avant Gardner complex in Brooklyn, where Dubai-based FIVE Holdings assumed full operational management of the Brooklyn Mirage and The Great Hall in February. This move transforms the space into Pacha's only U.S. outpost, drawing from the club's historic Ibiza flagship. The Brooklyn Mirage had faced significant setbacks, including a failed opening last May due to permitting issues, subsequent cancellations, and bankruptcy. On April 7, Pacha sent an email to around 30,000 ticketholders with unrefunded tickets and season passes, offering coupons worth the original value—totaling $3,107,654—for food, drinks, and merchandise at Pacha events. A source close to the club confirmed the voucher total to Billboard. The email stated: “Before we look ahead, we want to speak directly to you, the community that has always been at the heartbeat of New York’s dance culture… We know the last chapter left many of you frustrated... While Pacha New York was not involved in these circumstances, we’ve made a conscious decision on making this right for you… We’re offering 100% of your original ticket value as a coupon at Pacha New York.”
