Persib Bandung held its first training session in Bandung on Saturday. Coach Igor Tolic and new signings including Sandy Walsh began preparations for the 2026 President’s Cup.
The Maung Bandung squad gathered at the supporting field of Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium on July 11 2026. Head coach Igor Tolic, assisted by Zlatko Runje and Karlo Reinhkolz, led the session.
The first workout focused on introducing playing principles and restoring fitness after the break. Tolic said intensity would rise ahead of the President’s Cup starting July 25.
Sandy Walsh announced he will wear number 6. He said the number symbolizes his pregnant wife Aislinn Konig using the formula 5 plus 1.
New arrivals including Gabriel Mutombo, Luka Menalo, and Balsa Sekulic also took part. Midfielder Luciano Guaycochea described the atmosphere as pleasant with the new faces.
