Prema Rawat replaces Shreyanka Patil for India at Women's T20 World Cup

India have called up uncapped leg-spinner Prema Rawat as a replacement for injured bowler Shreyanka Patil at the Women's T20 World Cup.

Shreyanka Patil suffered an ankle injury while bowling against the Netherlands and left the field after delivering just one ball. The Event Technical Committee approved Prema Rawat as her replacement on June 18, 2026.

Prema Rawat remains uncapped at the senior international level but has performed well with her leg-spin for Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the WPL and for Uttarakhand and India-A.

India have won their opening two matches and are scheduled to face South Africa at Old Trafford in Manchester on June 21.
