Racing Bulls earns best of the rest title at Austrian Grand Prix

Racing Bulls strengthened its position as the best of the rest in Formula 1 with a double points finish at the Austrian Grand Prix. Liam Lawson and Arvid Lindblad placed ninth and tenth at the Red Bull Ring. Analyst Alex Brundle praised the team's performance on F1 TV.

The Faenza-based team collected three points from the race. Lawson finished ninth and Lindblad tenth after starting from solid qualifying positions.

Alex Brundle highlighted the consistency during the post-race show. "They stopped twice. They drove around in ninth and 10th and they finished up at the back end of the points," he said. "They're the best of the rest, and they looked like, for the first time in a while, the best of the rest in terms of race pace as well."

Lawson told Sky Sports F1 that the car improved during the 71 laps. "After the first stint, we knew that we had good speed, compared to the other guys in the midfield," he noted. "Our pace got better through the race as well."

The result leaves Racing Bulls sixth in the Constructors' Championship with 44 points. Lawson sits tenth in the Drivers' Standings with 30 points while Lindblad is thirteenth with 14 points.
