Ryan Fox captured the Open Championship at Royal Birkdale last week. He relied on a yet-to-be-released Srixon driver and Adidas spikeless shoes during the victory.
Fox delivered a 330-yard drive on the final hole to set up his winning birdie. The shot came with his Srixon ZXi RKT LS+ prototype driver, which launched on the PGA Tour last month at the Travelers Championship.
He also used the new ZXi RKT 3-wood and a Fujikura Ventus TR Black 6-X shaft. Fox ranked 10th in strokes gained off the tee for the week.
The New Zealander wore Adidas Adizero ZG spikeless shoes throughout the event. The model features Ultralight Lightstrike Pro cushioning, a 3D torsion plate and a waterproof upper suited to the dry and firm conditions at Royal Birkdale.
