SCJN researcher Sael Silva Cisneros killed in armed attack in Guerrero

Sael Silva Cisneros, a researcher at the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation and human rights activist, was killed in an armed attack on Friday night in Cuajinicuilapa, Guerrero.

The events took place around 21:00 hours on the Acapulco-Pinotepa Nacional federal highway, in front of the Centro de Bachillerato Tecnológico Agropecuario. Silva Cisneros, originally from San Nicolás, had participated that day in a seminar on Afro-Mexican dissidences, justice and human rights in the municipal seat.
