Cooper London honored her late godmother on the second anniversary of Shannen Doherty's death. The Charmed star passed in July 2024 at age 53 after battling cancer. London's Instagram post mixed love, memories and a little shade at the state of the world.
Cooper London, daughter of actor Jason London and Charlie Spradling, shared a throwback photo of Doherty holding her in a pool. She wrote that the actress is “with me more than ever now” and thanked her for everything from morals to “spying tips” complete with wigs and binoculars.
London added that Doherty “haunt[s] the f*** out of me and my friends DAILY” and signed off with “Later Gator” plus “I LOVE YOU.” She noted that if Doherty were alive she would probably say the world below is “a mess.”
Fans flooded the comments with support, including one person currently fighting cancer who hoped to be “half as strong as Shannen.” The post lands exactly two years after Doherty’s July 2024 death.
