Musician Sombr has announced his first arena tour, the 37-date You Are the Reason Tour, kicking off in Mexico City in July and concluding in New York City in November. The tour features support acts including Interpol and The Last Dinner Party on select dates. Sombr also revealed a new single, “Potential,” set for release on April 16.
Sombr will launch the You Are the Reason Tour on July 22 at Mexico City’s Pepsi Center. The majority of the 37 shows will span September through November across North American cities such as Vancouver, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Austin, Chicago, Philadelphia, Detroit, and others. The tour wraps up on November 23 at Madison Square Garden in his hometown of New York City, with opening acts varying by date: Interpol on some, The Last Dinner Party on others, alongside Tom Odell, Dove Cameron, Balu Brigada, King Princess, The Hellp, and Hannah Jadagu rotating through select performances. Artist pre-sale begins Tuesday at 10 a.m. local time, with general on-sale Friday, April 17, at the same time. Pre-sale for the tour starts today, April 14, at 10 a.m. local time, followed by general sale on Friday, April 17. This follows Sombr's recently wrapped Late Nights & Young Romance Tour, which included nearly 70 shows and surprise guests like Niall Horan and Joe Jonas. Sombr performed at Coachella over the weekend and has summer festival dates lined up, including Lollapalooza in Chicago, Rock En Seine in Paris, Reading and Leeds Festivals in England, and Red Rocks Amphitheatre in July. Alongside the tour news, Sombr announced his new single “Potential,” arriving April 16 with an official music video. It follows his February release “Homewrecker.”
