Steelers guard Spencer Anderson hires new agent

Pittsburgh Steelers offensive guard Spencer Anderson has switched agents ahead of his contract year. The move comes as he enters the final season of his rookie deal. Anderson joined 1 of 1 Agency, which announced the change along with Anderson on Instagram.

Anderson had been represented by Vanguard Sports Agency. The new agency also works with Steelers defensive lineman Keeanu Benton, who is also in a contract year, as well as edge rusher Nick Herbig and center Zach Frazier.

The 26-year-old Anderson appeared in 42 games with 11 starts over his first two seasons after being selected in the seventh round of the 2023 draft. He played a key role in the running game last season while filling in at left guard.

He is expected to compete for the starting right guard position in training camp against Brock Hoffman and rookie Gennings Dunker. A strong performance could position him for a significant contract in 2027 free agency.
