SW-Motech has introduced the V-Loc side carrier system, which uses magnetic guidance to simplify attaching luggage to motorcycles.
The system relies on Fidlock technology for magnetically guided connections that produce an audible click when secure. Carriers support Legend Gear sidebags or Side Bag WP models in 11-liter or 16-liter sizes.
The waterproof and dustproof WP bags can be removed quickly by pulling a release tab. A corresponding mounting point on the bike accepts the carrier for fast installation or detachment.
The design aims to reduce the need for straps or screws, making it suitable for paved roads. SW-Motech notes that delicate mechanisms may not suit dusty off-road conditions.
