The Black Keys announce new album Peaches!

The Black Keys have revealed their 14th studio album, Peaches!, set for release on May 1 via Easy Eye Sound and Warner. The blues-rock duo from Akron, Ohio, leads with the single “You Got to Lose,” accompanied by a music video filmed at a Memphis juke joint. The album follows their 2025 release No Rain, No Flowers and draws from personal challenges faced by singer-guitarist Dan Auerbach.

The Black Keys, the enduring duo of singer-guitarist Dan Auerbach and drummer Patrick Carney, continue their prolific output with Peaches!, their 14th album overall. Billed as their most natural work since the 2002 debut The Big Come Up, the 10-track LP arrives less than a year after No Rain, No Flowers, which came out on August 8, 2025.

The announcement coincides with the release of lead single “You Got to Lose,” featuring a music video directed by E.J. McLeavey-Fisher. In the video, Auerbach and Carney perform a surprise show at Hernando’s Hide-A-Way, a historic Memphis juke joint. The tracklist includes: 01 Where There’s Smoke, There’s Fire, 02 Stop Arguing Over Me, 03 Who’s Been Foolin’ You, 04 It’s a Dream, 05 Tomorrow Night, 06 You Got to Lose, 07 Tell Me You Love Me, 08 She Does It Right, 09 Fireman Ring the Bell, and 10 Nobody But You Baby.

The album's creation stemmed from a raw, personal period. Auerbach's father was diagnosed with esophageal cancer and stayed at his son's Nashville home during his decline. “We weren’t making a record. We were just jamming, like this is for us,” Auerbach said in a press release. “Really primal, in a moment when all the nerves were raw, just kinda screaming. We were going through a lot, trying to lift our spirits. I think my dad getting sick made me not give a fuck and just wanna scream for a bit.”

This follows a busy stretch for the band. Their 11th album, Dropout Boogie, dropped on May 13, 2022, earning Grammy nods for Best Rock Album and Best Rock Performance. Ohio Players, their 12th, arrived April 5, 2024, with the nominated track “Beautiful People (Stay High).” No Rain, No Flowers expanded their blues-rock sound with singles like “The Night Before” and “Babygirl.” Peaches! underscores the duo's resilience, blending gritty roots with emotional depth more than two decades into their career.
