Organizers of the renowned electronic music festival Tomorrowland have announced plans to expand to Thailand with an event scheduled for December 2026. The debut edition will take place at Wisdom Valley in Chonburi, joining the festival's established locations in Belgium and Brazil. This move aims to boost Thailand's global tourism profile through music and cultural experiences.
Tomorrowland, the popular electronic dance music festival known for its elaborate productions, is set to make its Asian debut in Thailand. The event, dubbed Tomorrowland Thailand, will run from December 11 through 13, 2026, at Wisdom Valley in Chonburi, a site about 100 kilometers southeast of Bangkok.
This expansion follows the festival's successful iterations in Boom, Belgium, held annually in July, and Tomorrowland Brasil. The Thai edition is expected to draw more than 50,000 attendees daily, featuring multiple stages for performances by international artists. Unlike the Belgian version, it will not offer camping, but hotel packages will be available for visitors. Pre-sale tickets go on sale January 8, 2026.
The announcement highlights Thailand's push to become a hub for global tourism and creative events. "Tomorrowland Thailand marks an important milestone in our ambition to position the country as a leader in global tourism and creative experiences," stated the Tourism Authority of Thailand. "We look forward to welcoming people from all over the world to discover the beauty, culture, and hospitality of Thailand."
WEAREONE.world CEO Bruno Vanwelsenaers expressed enthusiasm for the venture: "Expanding Tomorrowland to a new continent is a milestone we approach with great respect and excitement. Thailand feels like the right place, not only because of its beauty and energy, but also because of the shared ambition to create something meaningful and world-class together. This is the beginning of a long-term story. The team in Belgium will work with a local team of 40 people in Thailand."
The 2026 and 2027 editions across all locations will share the theme "Consciencia," described as "a living narrative that travels across continents, connecting cultures and communities through one unified vision." Organizers elaborate that it explores six primal emotions—Wonder, Love, Anger, Joy, Desire, and Sadness—as distinct factions, each with its own visual language, rituals, and symbolic universe, blending otherworldly and human elements.
